we are under construction!

Lödöse museum is currently in an exciting phase, as we are producing a new permanent exhibition. To some extent this affects our range of public activities and guided tours from 1st september 2019 until the new exhibition opens in 2021. We apologise for any inconvenience, and hope to see you soon.

The museum is open during the construction period, but individual spaces will be closed to the public during certain periods.

The change in the museum also means that:

• Lilla Edet's branch library will move within the building from June 1, 2019 and will be closed during the summer. The library opens again in September 2019.

• 2/9 - 27/9 We close our exhibition "The Medieval Lödöse" to allow it to resurface in a smaller format as we build our new basic exhibition. Café, shop, Herb Garden and Shipyard exhibition are available as usual.

It is of course possible to book guided tours this fall. The new exhibition opens in 2021.
